Hosted by WW co-owner Alexis Tellefsen, this pinch pot workshop is the perfect introduction to the beautiful vast world of clay. Alexis will show participants the basics of hand building (non-wheel processes of clay construction) and together we will dive head first into ceramics using the simplest method - the pinch pot technique.
A ceramic vessel can be anything you decide - a cup for your morning espresso, an olive bowl, a pot for your new jade cutting. Participants are encouraged to come with a loose plan of what they'd like to make (feel free to sketch at home!) and Alexis will help you see it through to fruition. You will be able to make several small pieces, or one large piece.
To complete your pieces you will have a choice of glaze colors which Alexis will apply to your pots and she will fire them for you. Finished work will be available for pick up within 3 weeks - you will receive an email when your pieces are ready.
This is the perfect class for beginners - all ages welcome, no experience required.
